Allusions
to the Roman splendor, evidenced by gold plated wall panels, are
also found in the menu, where the classic Risotto with saffron and
boletus mushrooms, is adorned with a thin foil of pure 24 carat
eatable gold. The classic home-made tagliatelle noodles appear ennobled,
thanks to a succulent sauce of fresh foie-gras and duck confit.
Among the meats, you will find a juicy beef filet with a Brunello
di Montalcino wine sauce and topped with fresh foie-gras. Mediterranean
Sea dishes are also well represented by delicious dishes such as,
fettuccine noodles with lobster, octopus carpaccio with caper flowers,
or spaghetti with clams, tomato and zucchini sauce with selected
shellfish and tasty seafood.
To finish, or “dulcis in fundo” as the Romans would
say, you cannot miss the classic Tiramisú with a light taste
of real Italian espresso coffee, which satisfies the most demanding
palates. Among the novelties you’ll find a delicate Zabaglione
cream with Amaretto di Saronno liquor and minced almonds, or the
well married hot chocolate pie covered with gold foil and the refreshing
after-eight mint ice-cream .
